QuickFind: Making it quicker to find...

With thousands of pages of content every month, it can be overwhelming to find information relevant to you. QuickFind is The Big Idea’s way of grouping the latest information about a particular creative discipline or geographic region all in one key section. Visitors can see the jobs, events, news, interviews, community members and organisations for any region and/or any creative discipline.

Adding QuickFind navigation to the homepage makes it easier to find this content. If members have news they think should be in this section – then they can use the submit button to add it.

This is part of The Big Idea’s programme of continuous improvement on the website to deliver services that help members of the creative community use digital tools for their networks, employment, business development and find out what is happening in the creative sector.

Different regions have been quick to see the advantage of a section like this as a key strand in their strategies to deliver economic and creative community development in their regions. Wellington City Council are using the Wellington region pages to support The Hub at Toi Poneke. Auckland City Council are using QuickFind to actively promote and assist the Auckland region's creative industries.
