Notes:

• Auckland’s independent companies need a physical home when working. Current facilities
• The space needs to be – big, High Stud, Smooth Floors (can be fitted out for safe dance), rigging capabilities, run as a space for skills development, creative development, producer support.
• Not for performance
• A hub for the community.

Identified Priorities

• Form an entity to drive this (pull together industry support)
• Scope Spaces via business, local authorities, possibly Opera if they move on.
• Develop business plan & find funding.
