The New Educational Series is comprised of three experimental animations which re-contextualize material extracted from the forgotten and discarded educational books and other learning media of the 1960’s and 70’s. With the completion of the third and final film in the series, ‘New Educational Series - At Home With The Ants’ in May 2009, this exhibition will be the first screening of the New Educational Series as the complete collection. In conjunction with the installation in The Film Archive Exhibition space, the work will screen with the re-opening of the Viewfinder space at the Central Library 8th - 21st September 2009, Opening Tuesday 8th September.
