Wonderland: The Magic of the Rose
The final chapter of our Wonderland exhibition: 'The Magic of the Rose', opens at the Auckland Museum on December 4th 2009.
The exhibition unravels the fascinating lineage of this flower family and explores fabulous tales of love, passion and secrecy that have made the rose revered by royalty, praised by poets, and enjoyed by gardeners around the world.
The exhibition will brim with objects from the Museum’s rich collection and evoke the world of fairytales within a summer atmosphere of colour and celebration.
The exhibition opening will be held at LATE 04, on December 3rd. Entry included with your LATE ticket
