Touch Compass Integrated Dance Community Workshop

Touch Compass Dance Company, Auckland, is New Zealand's leading Integrated Dance company, who combine dancers with and without disability in stunning performances and training events.

Touch Compass comes to Wellington for one workshop only this year, led by Catherine Chappell, artistic director, and Jesse Johnstone-Steele, company dancer, with support dancers.

Don't miss the chance to work with this ground breaking company and be part of this fantastic workshop!  All levels of skill and ability welcome.  This workshop, in the beautiful Te Whaea Dance studio, will offer participants an unparallelled opportunity to express their creativity through movement in a fun and supportive environment.

Attendees will gain experience of Integrated Dance methods, based on Contact Improvisation, which will provide skills that can be utilised in their own practice.  

This year we will also have the chance to work with live musicians!

10am-3pm Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July.

Lunches provided: Bring comfortable clothing and a bottle of water.
