Hastings City Art Gallery presents The National Association of New Zealand Quilters exhibition of 20 wall quilts by members of the NANZQ who were challenged to interpret the theme ‘Illumination’.

Prizes were awarded for 'Best' and 'Merit' Traditional: - Best award - "Blurred Vision" (pictured) by Kathleen Burford (Christchurch), Merit award - "K Is For Kelmscott" by Natalie Murdoch (Thames).  'Best' and 'Merit' Innovative - Best award - "Wintersweet" by Lyn Winter (Rangiora), Merit award - "Illuminated French Curves" by Juliet Fitness (Auckland) and Rookie Award - "Night Light" by Alison Laurence (Auckland).
