e-engage your community
This is a conference pitched at those who wish to do more with their online presence. If you've ever wondered how the web could be better used by your organisation; or are frustrated at what your blog never gets updated; or want to venture into social media, then this is a conference for you.
It's also a conference aimed squarely and unapologetically at the community sector. At those voluntary and non-profit organisations working at the grass-roots level. We know that you're stretched and busy and over-worked. We know that you may even be thinking, "There's no way I can spare a day going to a conference! I've got too much going on right now." But we also know that it's vitally important for organisations like yours to engage with the web and to engage with those members of the community growing up online.
The Engage Your Community conference will lead you to the next step in harnessing the potential of online. If you can use email and navigate your way around a website, then you've got all the technical knowledge you'll need to get something from the conference. If you're at a more advanced level, there's still bound to be something you'll pick up, plus there'll be opportunities to share knowledge and experiences with those in similar situations.

The conference will be held at Massey University, Wellington. Massey is situated on the corner of Taranaki and Wallace streets.
Conference Costs
The conference price includes lunch, morning and afternoon tea, and finger food at the after-conference cocktails. The workshop price includes morning or afternoon tea. Lunch is included if you are attending a morning and afternoon workshop. All costs are GST inc.
Conference costs (Thursday 12 November)
$150 per person.
If your organisation sends three or more people, there is a discounted cost for the third, and subsequent people, of $100 per person.
Workshop costs (Friday 13 November)
$175 per person if you are attending a single workshop.
$125 discounted cost per workshop if you are attending the main conference, or two workshops.
