The Dugongs Lament - Tammy Strettons 1st show
This is Tammy Rose Strettons 1st exhibition, please comealong and support this exciting new artist.Tammy is originally from the mean streets of Murder Acre (a.k.a Motueka) and now resides in Wellington. Following a misguided journey into tertiary education studying History, Religious Studies and Film Theory she has rekindled her love for animal portraiture, taxidermy and gangster rap. After creating a self-indulgent blog http://www.dugonglament.blogspot.com/ which promotes vegetarian taxidermy and romance novel cover art, she delved into the exciting world of diy zine creation. Hence “The Dugong’s Lament” was born, which is an all encompassing concept in electronic, printed and painted form. This is her first exhibition which combines all the strange nuances of her hobbies and passions and includes paintings, sketches and zines.
