CircoArts predicted to delight audiences

Next month, CPIT’s CircoArts will enthral audiences with its own style of distinct and innovative circus theatre.  This year the show menu features a double bill of unique entertainment.

Lydian Age: A physical theatre journey, integrating Stilts and Aerials.  Two characters embark upon an acrobatic odyssey in which they portray the separation of thought and mind.  These explorers navigate through the darker realms of pre-thought chaos towards an integrated and inevitable synergy.

Tina’s Follies: A Circus Variety Spectacular.  The graduating students’ final show is an extravagant collection of New Vaudeville acts.  This cabaret style performance will present a variety of circus disciplines including aerials, acrobatics, manipulation, and comic theatre.  You’ll delight in the hilarity and absurdity of uncanny characters and be awe inspired by the strength and dexterity of the circus skills spectacle.

CircoArts events belong to the ignition schedule.  ignition is a year-long programme that showcases the creative talents and achievements of CPIT students.  ignition profiles and celebrates excellence across many creative disciplines, from circus arts, fashion, hairdressing, jazz and musical theatre, to broadcasting, furniture design, graphic and fine arts, interior design, photography, multi-media and sculpture.

If it’s creative at CPIT, it’s part of ignition.
