Atsushi and the Moisties with TKBS

Come along for some high energy reggae, ska and dub music that will keep you moving and possibly make you weep with joy.  1st October 8.30pm

Atsushi & the Moisties play authentic ska and reggae music inspired by 1960's+70's style music of Jamaica. Their influences include The Skatalites, Maytals, Heptones, Lyn Taitt and Harry J All Stars. With no vocals, their horn section leads the melody in their all instrumental tracks, which makes the Moisties sound unique.

The Kingsland Boom Society, good old fashioned dub and reggae. Featuring 1 sax, 2 gats, bass, drums, synths, bongos, Didgeridoo and sometime a ukulele. Influences include UB40, Ardijah, Izrael Kamakawiwo'ole and Jack Johnson.
