I go where the party takes me
I go where the party takes me brings together a group of Whanganui-based documentary photographers offering individual visions of their diverse, multi-cultural community.
The exhibition title is from lyrics by New Zealand band Flight of the Conchords and features Leigh Mitchell-Anyon, Rosalie Gwilliam, Mark Brimblecombe and Raewyn Cliffe, Jes-ci Singh Nagra, Rab G.P. Lewin, Spencer Hall, Camillia Afele and J.K. Russ. In addition, the Whanganui School of Design Pivot magazine crew have produced a video work ‘House Party’.
Auckland guest artists are D.A.N.C.E. and DeeZaStar. This exhibition is generously supported by Creative Communities:Wanganui District and The James Wallace Trust. Opening Tues 20 Oct 5.30pm through to Sat 31 Oct.
