Pecha Kucha Night #3 - Dunedin
Dunedin's third Pecha Kucha Night is approaching and we'd love to share 12 inspiring presentations with you. For this next Pecha Kucha Night we are working closely with the University of Otago design department. We will have a unique mix of University and community designers, artists and passionate people.
The previous Pecha Kucha event was held at the Otago Polytechnic Art School and was attended by 140 people. We really packed out their new lecture room and it was a very interesting mix of presenters.
A Pecha Kucha night involves the projection of a series of large images via a data projector. 12 invited presenters show 20 images each, with only 20 seconds to speak to each image (a total of 6.40 minutes per presentation). The magic is the rapid-fire presentation and the diversity of presenters and topics on the night. It is about bringing artists and designers together and getting inspired by their ideas. Pecha Kucha Nights now take place in over 260 cities around the world.
The list of presenters for our 3rd Pecha Kucha Night will be confirmed in the next few days. To keep in touch with the latest news go to the NZ Pecha Kucha website and join the newsletter.
