Playwrights Association of NZ Seminar 2010

A one-day playwrighting seminar with Roger Hall is being promoted by the Playwrights Association of New Zealand (PANZ) as an important part of their year's activities.

Members of PANZ believe this seminar will be of great benefit to those who wish to extend their writing skills, and that this will be an opportunity that should not be missed by up-and-coming playwrights - where in the world can you learn first hand from an established writer some of the secrets of success? Mr. Hall describes the day as "A day of looking at some of the techniques that help in writing a play".

Topics to be covered include dialogue, characterisation, exposition, holding the audience's attention, and polarising the cast.
