Sing for Joy - "Singshop" with Max Maxwell

ALL ARE WELCOME!

This will be a fun day where we’ll switch on your body, your brain, your voice with vocal games and
we’ll learn songs in a variety of styles - some Beatles and Beach Boys along with hand clappin’ African songs, a tad of good time Gospel and much more.

Whether you have sung all your life, don’t sing or think you can’t, this workshop is for you! Come along and experience the joy of singing with a group.

Venue: The Old Library, Rust Ave, Whangarei

Max has directed Auckland based Heaven Bent Gospel Choir for the past five years, during which time they recorded their first CD. He also directs the SingForJoy choir, which he started in 2009, and works with choirs and leads singing workshops throughout New Zealand. His passion lies in bringing people together to create harmony and rhythm – exhilarating, moving – and just sheer good fun !
