"Men willingly believe what they wish"
Julius Caesar’s quote has been around for centuries even so it still retains its pertinence in today’s fast paced, information saturated society. A belief is as individual as the person who holds it. From childhood we begin to take in the views of religion, media, family and advertising. Our world is viewed through the filter of these beliefs and they inform on every choice, every interaction we have and become how we define ourselves. This show investigates both the personal beliefs of the artists and belief in the larger context when faced with Caesar’s quote.
