Who's Neat? You!
Who's Neat? You! is set in a childhood health education mobile classroom - in other words, a ten-tonne truck parked outside the Wellington City New World Supermarket.
The creators of Who’s Neat? You! hope that their unusual venue and subversion of nineties nostalgia will get people talking about the positive and negative effects of contemporary attitudes towards childhood education, particularly the message that ‘you can be anything, as long as you work hard enough’. “We began with a sense of nostalgia,” says director Alex Lodge, “then we took it somewhere a little darker, and asked ourselves, ‘what would happen if it all went wrong?’”
Who's Neat? You! runs from the 17th of February to the 15th March, with shows at 6.30 and 8.00pm every night except for Mondays.
