Artsight Solarplate Printmaking Workshop

In the workshop we grain glass, draw and or paint an image on the glass, expose UV through an aquatint screen, expose UV with the art work,  make 2 solarplates, one intaglio and one relief.

The rest of the workshop will focus on experimentation with printmaking techniques using Magnani paper, recycled paper, and Akua intaglio/relief inks

Please bring some ideas for producing a solarplate using relief and intaglio techniques. 

The workshop will ne run by John Brebner (Homeprint) who has trained and taught with the inventor of the technique, New York printmaker Dan Welden.
