Swaroop Mukerji exhibition

One of India's finest watercolour painters, Swaroop Mukerji will be in New Zealand.

Swaroop was born in 1950 in Kolkata and is a self-taught artist. After a successful first solo show in 1993, an absorbing hobby was transformed into an alternative profession. Since then Mukerji has exhibited in Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi, as well as in the USA, the UK, the Netherlands and the Kingdom of Nepal. His works can be found in some of the most prestigious private collections as well as those of various government-run institutions, both at home and abroad. He continues to live and work in Kolkata, India.
