Summer School 2010, Corban Estate Arts Centre

Corban Estate Arts Centre presents a week long programme of inspiring workshops led by an exciting line up of well known contemporary New Zealand artists.

The Summer School engages participants in exploration, pushing boundaries and having fun in the creative field. Tutors offer their skills and talents to stimulate and engage participants in a full on learning immersion. Each course runs for 5 days, from Monday 18th – Friday 22nd, January, 10am – 4.30pm.

In addition to the courses on offer there will be an informal ‘tutor showcase’ presented by participating tutors. An optional trip has been arranged to visit a number of artists who now work in industrial sites in Waitakere City.

Corban Estate Arts Centre (CEAC) Summer School is set in the grounds and
buildings of the historic Corban Winery in Henderson, Waitakere City.

Included within the facilities, is the CEAC Gallery and Gallery Shop, located in the former Corban family homestead which exhibits a diverse range of artists.

    Corban Estate Arts Centre

    The Corban Estate Arts Centre (CEAC)

    It is located at the historic Corban Winery Estate in Henderson, Waitakere City. The Arts Centre utilizes the historic winery buildings and is home to galleries which feature a changing programme of Exhibitions, a Gallery Shop, and Artist's Studios.

    CEAC also offers a wide range of arts and cultural events and programmes including: Adult's Art Classes, Children's Art Classes and a Schools Education Programme.
