The Developing Singer course with Gina Sanders

This is a holiday program focussing on musicianship and vocal development. With four strands running, participants will have an enriching experience discovering more about their voice.

The Young Beginners session for under 10 year olds will provide an introduction to both singing and general music.
The Advanced Beginner courses will cover the fundamentals of vocal production in detail with an emphasis on
a) breath management/support
b) tone production and articulation
c) projection, presentation and communication.

The Intermediate (Grades 3-5)) and Advanced (Grade 6+) groups will develop a focus on more advanced vocal production with a greater emphasis on understanding the functioning of breath management, tone production and articulation along with projection, presentation and communication. The IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) will be used and there will be attention paid to the additional areas of interpretation, foreign languages and stage movement. The Adult course will function according to the needs of the participants who may be at a variety of levels.

The cost per course is $90.00 (incl GST) per student, with a discount for siblings. Each group, restricted to 6 members, will attend a two hour session on each of the three days.
