You will produce two paintings exploring ideas from history and the imagination. The tutor; painter Maryrose Crook will discuss the conceptual and pictorial developlment of imagery in her work and assist you in developing ideas based on a chosen theme.
Michel Tuffery-Printmaking and urban art techniques workshop-23rd and 24th Jan
Michel Tuffery employs contemporary media and materials during this two day mixed media workshop, merging traditional woodblock printmaking processes with urban graphic art techniques. Designed for participants to develop confidence and experiment with their own printmaking.
Sandy Rodgers-History and Place-Mixed Media workshop-30th and 31st Jan 2010
During this workshop you will produce two mixed media works relating to a personal connection with the Wellington region. Participants will create their pieces with a sense of narrative,carefully layering pages of text and images with archival tissue,graphite,inks and watercolours.
