Dr. Sketchy Wellington, 10th of July
Dr. Sketchy Wellington is on the second Saturday of every month from 4pm to 7pm at Mighty Mighty (upstairs 104 Cuba Street). Tickets at the door or from Manky Chops gallery: $14 waged, $12 unwaged (with id). Bring along your pens, pencils and paper (not your camera) and we will provide the performers, prizes and pizza.
This month on Saturday the 10th of July we are delighted to have Wellington’s own 80s dance troupe the REAL HOT BITCHES. Think Dirty Dancing meets Flashdance meets Footloose meets The Solid Gold Dancers meets you in your lounge when you were 11. Clad in lycra spandex like it’s 1985 this passionate group are performing and modelling for Dr. Sketchy Wellington in the lead up to their hit dance spectacular THE FIERCENESS (which will be at Downstage Theatre from 5th to 7th of August).
