The Irrefutable Truth About Petfood

The Irrefutable Truth about Pet Food is an hilarious, absurd, solo comedy that runs the gamut from the mundane to the epic. Performed by Barnaby Fredric (Song for the Ugly Kids, Le Sud).

Anyone who has ever worked in a dead-end job or seen a Hollywood disaster film will be able to immediate identify with the piece. It is a solo show that is very aware of the limitations and theatrical pitfalls associated with the form, and lampoons them to comic effect, with deliberate and hilariously shonky transitions between characters, a spartan set, musical numbers, and creative use of props all building to a hilarious and chaotic finale.

"Barnaby Fredric steals the show in The Irrefutable Truth about Petfood, an irreverent spoof soap opera with shades of Andy Kaufman and Mike Myers. Full of great characters and inventive sight gags, and with a moral ending that had the audience in fits, Fredric's piece harnesses the true power of comedy." Thomas LaHood - Theatreview
