Mid Winter Arts Festival - African Dance Workshop

MWAF community projects are aimed at getting everyone involved and uplifted in a moment of shared creativity!

Dance like no one is watching... in Forum North on Saturday 31 July at 2:30pm with Ra McRostie

Ra is an Educator, Community Arts Worker, and Performance Artist. She shares traditional African dances and rhythms as well as afro-inspired choreography as a method of creating community and helping individuals heal and grow. Ra is deeply respectful and keenly aware that the information she shares comes directly from ancient cultures and believes that open-hearted participation can allow access to deeper, subtle wisdom about ourselves and the world we live in. Ra's classes are high energy, joyous, and inclusive. No dance experience is necessary. Wear clothing you can move in and bring water.
