Fantastic Frogs ~ A play with nature

Exploring Nature through Shows – The Frog Prince, Adapted by Jo Laird – every hour on the hour, Story Telling and Puppet Making with Kylie Penn, Gill Taylor and Friends.

Come along and make a frog puppet, explore the frog forest and talk to the frog expert.

An amazing transformation has come over the cafler suites at Forum North. Over night a forest has grown and it holds many activities and adventures for those who want to visit it.

It is the home of frogs, big and small, with a special mention for those frogs that are struggling to survive in New Zealand. You can make your own frog puppet or maybe a frog mask with a long sticky tongue. You can take a stroll along our nature trail or have fun on our obstacle course. A frog expert from DOC will let you in on our local frogs secrets and every hour you can catch a fantastic performance of the Frog Prince by the Magic Play House puppets and storyteller extraordinaire Gill Taylor.

What a wonderful way to spend the weekend and it’s only a small part of the Mid Winter Arts Festival experience. Come and join us and have some froggy fun.
