Writers Forum- Introduction to Scriptwriting
First in the Petone-based HVCA Arts Hub Forum Series happening in June, " Scriptwriting in NZ" will be presented by scriptwriter, former arts journalist and president of NZ Writer's Guild 2007-2010, Benedict Reid.
This forum will appeal to writer's of all levels- bringing new knowledge to some and as a refresher course and social event for others!! The talk will quickly touch on the techniques and tools used by Scriptwriters, and then move onto the range of professional organisations and creative opportunities available in New Zealand.
An interactive session with Q&A's, this forum not only aims to impart knowledge but for local writers to meet and engage with other literary minds over coffee and cake at Petone's Farsite Gallery on a cold and otherwise boring winter eve.
