Conservation Binding with a Slip Cover.
A two day weekend workshop in which students will sew a book onto cords and put it
into a flexible stiff paper cover similar to a flexible vellum binding. The
binding was developed by the National Library in Amsterdam for a quick and
easy binding that can be rebound into leather at a later stage. This course
is suitable for beginners and advanced students. The binding can easily be
done at home without many tools or equipment.
