Composition Workshops: Argentinian Indigenous Instruments and New Technologies Orchestra (Argentina)

Founded in 2000 by Maestro Alejandro Iglesias Rossi, this orchestra consists of 17 musicians who are members of the Electronic Arts Department and New Musical Technologies Masters programme at the National University of Argentina. The orchestra features over 100 instruments that range from the modern and familiar, to the exotic and ancient. The result is a musical meditation on the fate of tradition amid technological development.
