OPEN STUDIO WEEKEND @ CEAC
- Twenty artists based in studios on site, will open their studios over the weekend. Some will have art for sale.
- Three different art exhibitions will be showing: photographic works by Edith Atuamanai; ‘Neighbourhood’ - work by artists from the Corban Estate community; and the Waitakere Central Community Arts Council’s members’ exhibition.
- Free art workshops happening throughout the weekend; Natural fibre sculpture, Junk assemblage and Textile art.
- Observe local artist Anna Korver lead a stone carving workshop.
- Drop into the Pacifica Centre, watch the Pacifica Mamas weaving and buy Pacific crafts.
- Bus tours of artists’ studios in Waitakere City will leave from CEAC.
- Take a Heritage Tour of the Corban Estate.
- Tempt your tastebuds with fresh and flavourful food at the CEAC Cafe. Fresh coffee will also be available.
- Live music each day between 12 and 2pm; Trio CDM on Saturday, and Cat Tunks from Black Sand Diva on Sunday.

The Corban Estate Arts Centre (CEAC)
It is located at the historic Corban Winery Estate in Henderson, Waitakere City. The Arts Centre utilizes the historic winery buildings and is home to galleries which feature a changing programme of Exhibitions, a Gallery Shop, and Artist's Studios.
CEAC also offers a wide range of arts and cultural events and programmes including: Adult's Art Classes, Children's Art Classes and a Schools Education Programme.
