A Spirit of Independence: Graeme Tetley

Continuing our discussions on the spirit of independence, identity, and original thought, Script to Screen is proud to present a conversation between one of our most notable screenwriters, Graeme Tetley (Vigil, Ruby and Rata, Out of the Blue) and screenwriter and script consultant Kathryn Akuhata-Brown as part of the Dunedin Festival of Film and Television Craft.

With reference to the iconic New Zealand films written by Tetley, the discussion will delve into how to approach the feature-writing process including making good choices in the early stages of developing an idea, the importance of research, finding a poetic voice and discovering the heart of your project.
