Collaboration: Louis Sutherland and Mark Albiston

Louis Sutherland and Mark Albiston’s two short films, Run and The Six Dollar Fifty Man, were both awarded a Special Distinction at Cannes and the later won the Jury Prize in International Filmmaking (for best short film) at Sundance in 2010.

Our March Auckland Writer’s Room will open with a special screening of The Six Dollar Fifty Man before screenwriter and producer Shuchi Kothari delves into conversation with Mark and Louis focusing on their collaborative process – co-conceiving, co-writing and lately co-directing – in both their short films and the feature film they are developing.
