DANZ workshop in Whangarei - Choreographic Skills
Saturday 1 May 10am - 4pm
A fun and practical workshop covering the essential elements, skills and processes needed in choreography.
Suitable for dance teachers (studio and community), senior dance students, school dance teachers and others involved in dance.
Tutor: Sue Cheesman has an eclectic range of skills and has worked as a dance animateur (community dance), choreographer and dance artist/educator both internationally (UK) and here. Sue is currently Senior Lecturer in Dance Education at the University of Waikato. A dynamic presenter, Sue has worked both as dance artist and a dance educator so has the skills and experience to advise on a range of performance and dance environments.
Please bring your own lunch, snacks and water/juice for the duration of the workshop. There will be a 45-minute lunch break.
