Sowing Incantations - a 7-week Theatre Workshop For Wellington Practitioners

Sowing incantations is a 7-week theatre workshop focussing on choreographic theatre, group singing and soundscape work. It is open to invited practitioners and applicants seeking to investigate experimental choral ensemble. Directed by Jessica and Rhys Latton, it will take place twice weekly from 11th May – 25th June 2010.
This is the beginning of a journey. We do not know the final destination.
Past workshop participants have included: circus performers, actors, dancers, an ex-opera singer, musicians, and a puppet master.

Details:
7 Weeks: Tues 11th May – Friday 25th June
Tuesdays 9am – 12pm
Fridays 9am – 12pm
Workshop cost: $140 (= $10 per session) if paid in instalments;
$120 ($20 reduction) if paid in one lump sum.
Wellington - venue to be advised.
We are looking for courageous and committed performers with strong physical and vocal ability and group sensitivity. Performers must commit to at least 3/4 of the training sessions.
