Her lecture will be followed by an intimate interview-style conversation with a fashion luminary regarding their personal experiences and evolution as a designer ... "
Penned by Lassig, New Zealand Fashion Design profiles 25 of the country's top contemporary fashion designers, providing an insight into their professional growth, design philosophies and inspiration, as well as the key developments that have brought New Zealand fashion to international attention over the past 30 years.
Lassig was Senior Curator (History) at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa for eight years and remains active in research on fashion and textile history in nineteenth and twentieth-century New Zealand.
She will be joined by a designer guest-speaker in each of the main centres.
