Some other places
The Owen G Glenn Building is the catalyst for some other places, a performance that sees a large group of dancers enlivening the terrace and plaza in front of the building through movement, vocalisation and innovative choreography. First, second and third year Dance Studies students have worked over the year with their tutors to create dances in response to the building, its inhabitants and their patterns of movement. The result is a startling event, drawing attention to the architectural gestures of the building in dialogue with the body's potential for expressive movement. Bold costume design by Christina Houghton amplifies the effect through the use of colour, contour and material construction.
