Artspace SpeakEasy

Artspace

Please join us for our very first Artspace SpeakEasy, celebrating Artspace's modernist location in the former Newton Post Office.

Hear artists, designers, architects and historians give quick-fire presentations in a lively exchange of ideas about architecture and design on K Road.

This fast paced event will be accompanied by retro themed nibbles and delicious beverages - coffee from Caffe L'affare and Waiheke Island wines supplied by Connells Bay Sculpture Trust.

$10 at the door. All refreshments are complimentary.

The SpeakEasy also celebrates the launch of new Artspace Editions by Jeena Shin and Kelvin Soh. All proceeds from the evening will support Jeena Shin's Artspace Stairwell Project.

A selection of our guest speakers: Daniel Marshall (Daniel Marshall Architects), Jeena Shin (Artist) and Emma Bugden (Artspace Director), Rachel Lacy (Aalto Colour), Warren Olds (Designer and Publisher), Kelvin Soh (Designer), Richard Naish (RTA Studio), Edward Bennett (K Road Historian) and more...
