An Evening with James K. Baxter
Celebrated Kiwi writer James K Baxter's thoughtful and challenging consideration of private and public life during a period of enormous social upheaval, the 1960s. These two works address changing gender roles and relationships, government policy, and the social integration of the working (wo)man.
Also featuring "Baxter Basics" pre-matinee on Saturday the 18th of September for two shows only 11 am and 12 pm.
In association with Dramatrain, "Baxter Basics" is a lively adaptation for the stage of Baxter's poems for children by Adam Fresco with live music by Midge Perez.*

The Titirangi Theatre is located in 'The Basement' of Lopdell House in Titirangi - just a moment's stroll from the village shops and restaurants.
The theatre seats anywhere from 80-95 depending upon the nature of each play. Due to the intimate size of the theatre, sell-out performances are not uncommon - so early bookings are advised!
