The internet can be a fun, creative and exciting place if you know where to look. These workshops will teach you about all those great places on the web that allow you to do almost anything online, from creating your own art or music, to designing a website.
Day One - GET CONNECTED. Email, iTunes, OpenID, IM, browsers, Skype - find out exactlywhat they are and the best options for you. We will show you some free and fun ways to connect with friends and family online and some easy steps to using the internet safely and securely. (Parents, you are invited to drop in at 1.30pm to hear about how to stay safe on the net.)
Day Two - GET ONLINE. Creating your own websites, podcasts, blogs and so much more, has never been so easy. On day two we will show you how.
Day Three - GET CREATIVE. A guide to some of the most amazing applications available online that you can use to create animations, music and even your own 3D game!
