Late Lounge: Bella Kalolo

Find out why Bella was one of this year's finalists for the best Female Vocalist at the Pacific Music Awards. Described as one of New Zealand's most exciting artists, she has worked extensively as a vocalist with the likes of Don McGlashan, Dave Dobbyn, Hollie Smith, Fat Freddy's Drop, Tina Cross, Jackie Clarke, the NZSO and Nathan Haines, to name a few.

Multi-talented Bella has also worked in television on Dancing With The Stars, played a lead role in TV 2's kids series Jandals Away and appeared in the film, Sione's Wedding.  Her first single (released independently) came out in November 2008 and received radio play on several stations including NiuFM, Radio Active (bNet), KiwiFm and National Radio.

At the end of 2009, Bella recorded a single called Walk to Change. She also recorded an EP called The Road Ahead.
