Commedia dell'Arte workshop

In this workshop you will experience the half mask tradition of improvisational comedy which started in the marketplaces of Italy over 400 years ago. The word 'slapstick' had its origins in one of Commedia dell'Arte's stock characters however this form of theatre is a highly disciplined art requiring both skill and a strong sense of team work - an ideal place to build your self-confidence and ability to think and act on your feet. It's about being passionate, spontaneous and living fully in the moment - in true Italian style!
