Proposal Writing for Creative Projects
The ability to write effective proposals is an essential skill in our industry.
Whether you are putting forward a funding application, applying for choreographic or performance opportunities, or seeking sponsorship, it can be a challenge translating creative ideas into simple language.
This practical seminar will present:
· strategies for successfully compiling and shaping proposals
· the necessary elements of a well written proposal
· some helpful exercises that can get you writing or help you move past sticking points
You will be expected to actively work on a proposal during this workshop. Please bring with you any material relating to that proposal, including the "call for proposals" or "guide to applications" to which you are responding (e.g. Tempo or The Body call for proposals, CNZ Funding guidelines, call for expressions of interest for an Artist residency).
