Art for Their Sake ~ NZAFA supporting CHCH appeal

Christchurch needs our help

The New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts is holding a silent auction to benefit those affected by the Christchurch earthquake and there are two ways you can help...

  • donate an artwork.... for their sake
  • purchase an artwork.... for their sake (and yours of course!)

You will be able to bid in the gallery or here online The weeklong exhibition in the form of a silent auction will be shown in the main gallery. If you or anyone you know has artwork they would like to donate please bring your work to the Academy by April 5, 2011.  The show will open to the public with an opening function & silent auction on Friday the 15th of April at 5:30pm and run until Sunday, April 24. All proceeds from the event will go directly to those who have been affected by the recent earthquake through the official Red Cross Appeal.

If you have any questions about the show please contact The Academy Director Justin Morgan

Artworks can be donated to the galleries until April 5
