Q Open Day
The Q Open Day is your chance for a first glimpse inside our fantastic new venue and to get a taste of some of the innovative and exhilarating performances that will be lighting up Q’s stages for years to come.
When you arrive you will be led on a tour through all areas of the building, from the dressing rooms to centre-stage. This sneak peek also includes one-off vignette performances in Loft and Vault that feature some of Auckland’s brightest stars.
This is a truly unique experience. We can’t wait to share it with you.
Arrive at the rear entrance to Q on Lower Greys Avenue from 11am*. There will be market stalls selling food and drink, as well as performances by local musicians.

QQ is a performing arts venue at 305 Queen Street, right in the heart of Auckland City. This mid-sized flexible performance space, next door to the Town Hall, is a spirited and vibrant creative hub, showcasing the best of New Zealand theatre, dance music and comedy.
We also have a great cafe and bar, open from early til late, serving Supreme coffee, boutique beers and wines and killer cocktails alongside a delicious small plate menu.
