occasionalist: new artist show 2011
Artspace’s new artist show is an annual showcase for emerging talent in New Zealand. This year rice and beans, an artist run space in Dunedin, have been invited to orchestrate the show.
For the duration of their stay rice and beans will inhabit Artspace, host other artists and stage events. Public are encouraged to visit often to observe the exhibition develop. There will be no official opening, rather an evolving labour towards something that will manifest in a series of different overlapping configurations.
