K Road Christmas Carnival

Callum Gentleman & Brendan Turner with The K Road Business Association present a joyous Yuletide party to celebrate the last working Friday before Santa hits town.

On December 23 St Kevin's Arcade comes alive with brilliant local bands, colourful carnival characters, aerial artists & our own Christmas Candy-Floss Fairies.

 Highlights:

-        Our Christmas Candy-Floss Fairies (Leda Petit & Phloss Candy) handing out Whittaker's K Bars, Chocolate and making fresh Candy-Floss.

-        Eve Gordon and artists from The Dust Palace will perform.

-        Tiny Ruins (Hollie Fullbrook) first performance after a motorcycle accident in Zanzibar forced her to cancel a series of gigs.

-        Dr Colossus in their first appearance since the “Carnival of Souls” show for Auckland Festival in March.

-        Bannerman, Lisa Crawley and Bond Street Bridge top off recent album release tours.

Festivities begin at 4pm at St Kevin's Arcade, where the shops will be open late for present hunting, and roll on to 8pm when the Fairies and their friends pop down to host the Whammy Bar & Wine Cellar Christmas party, with all venues serving special Christmas Special Cooper's beers.
