Pink Noise is Aotearoa’s number one non-profit artist community. Set up by leading contemporary artist, Katie Robinson, PN has a vibrant and diverse membership that includes some of the hottest talent on our shores and in the world. Moved by the devastation in beautiful Christchurch, what else can our creative community do but roll up our sleeves and muck in – with art!
100% of the proceeds from sales will be donated to the Red Cross 2011 Christchurch Art Appeal – Deposits/donations will be made to a bank account, specifically set up to help this wonderful cause. Let’s keep it transparent, people!
So starting bidding, folks. Let’s show Christchurch we care – with creativity!

A place to show your work and let everyone know where to find you online. It is also a developing artist resource, to make all those interesting places out there easily accessible.
Essentially an Artist Directory, but with the added twist of close collaboration with an Art Zine. This interactive element sets it apart from the average artist listing!!
The philosophy behind Pink Noise is that in sharing around Pink Noise to others, you are a) promoting yourself and b) promoting everyone else that is involved as well.
. . . . And if everyone does it, we all help each other out! It’s a wonderous and simple plan and I love it!

Here's an update from Kate about the auctions on Trade Me.
So the grand total is . . . $10384.81!!! *WOW*. . .THANK YOU to everyone involved and a special EXTRA thanks to all those MANY artists and buyers that have covered the cost of postage out of their own pockets!! Brilliant!!!!
