ScreenPlay at THE EDGE
THE EDGE and CoLab have come together to host an exciting new interactive screen experience in the Aotea Centre Foyer. Over the course of Auckland Fringe 2011 so far, audiences have had the opportunity to experiment with interactive screen works facilitated by CoLab. Visual Artists Ans Bradford, Robert Carter and Naomi Lamb present three unique works for the inaugural show for Screen Play. The works will be on display rotating every thirty minutes, for the duration of Auckland Fringe 2011.

CoLabCoLab is an interdisciplinary creative technology centre. It aims to facilitate and promote creative practices, research and development, knowledge sharing, innovation and collaboration. CoLab is based on a partnership between AUT University, MIC Toi Rerehiko and arts organizations, practitioners, educational institutions, commercial enterprises, technology developers, industry bodies and communities.
It supports the development and public dissemination of hybrid ideas, research and creative practices through converging technologies, innovative formats, modes and networks. In so doing, it forms a community of enquiry and a physical meeting-ground for creative expression, new media industries and trans-disciplinary educators.
CoLab is working to build a strong social network of partners and associated organisations.
