The Boy With Tape On His Face (R16)

Drawing on a heritage that includes silent film, mime, magic, puppetry, Motown and the films of Patrick Swayze, The Boy With Tape On His Face is a pensive, curious soul approaching every object and audience member as a potential friend - or plaything.

Wordless, expressionless, he conjures the heart-rending poignancy of Buster Keaton and mingles it with mischief, piercing wit and triumphantly realised postmodern references that leave an audience enraptured.

The world is a globe, but for The Boy With Tape On His Face, it's a snowglobe. Come inside - he'll shake it so you can watch the flakes swirl.

Sam Wills was recently nominated for two 2011 Chortle Awards for The Boy with Tape on his Face - check it out here!
