Introduction to Digital Painting Workshop

Wednesday Evenings x 4

Time: 6.00pm-9.00pm

Level:  Beginners- although basic computer literacy is required

 

Digital Painting has become the preferred choice for the modern artist, and is used to create stunning artwork for web, comics and illustration. This short course introduces you to the techniques and closely guarded tricks of digital artists using Photoshop. During this course you will;

-learn professional techniques to create digital art

-digitally draw and paint characters and environments using Photoshop

-learn to use a digital drawing tablet

-import images into Photoshop for painting

-prepare images for a portfolio

 

Drawing tablets are supplied however if you have your own, please bring this along to the workshops.

 

Tutor: Greg Chapman joined the animation industry in 1997. His extensive project history as an animator includes television shows for Disney, Warner Bros and Nelvarna. He has also worked on feature film projects, music videos, website and television commercials.
