Performance events, fundraisers, workshops, community events, and even large scale public festivals are just a few of the common events that take place in the creative industries.
This seminar will cover the key elements of how to plan and manage a successful event. Tutor Amanda Wright, will share her knowledge and inspirational story of how successful music festival Splore developed from the underground to commercial reality. Suitable for Event and Project Coordinators, Producers, Arts Administrators, Teachers, or any other person interested in or working with events .
This practical seminar will cover the following:
- Background and History
- Events Amanda has been involved with in the creative sector
- The vision and kaupapa behind Splore
- Key elements of a project plan
- Working with funders and sponsors
- Event and project management skills
